World of Cubes Survival Craft is a free mobile survival and crafting game. Heavily inspired by Minecraft, the game shares many of its gameplay features, graphical elements and modes with Mojang's modern classic.
After a move to a free-to-play model early in 2017, World of Cubes Survival Craft is now available for all with additional revives and character skins available in the shop for real money. The game tasks players with mining resources, crafting items and building structures in single-player or multiplayer servers. Survival mode adds an element of danger with hordes of enemies and limited options to fight back. The most obvious difference from its more child-friendly inspiration is that World of Cubes Survival Craft's player-base interacts with global and local chat with very limited moderation, often leading to times of adult language and content. The graphics and controls are slightly below par compared to similar offerings but are serviceable enough for the game.
Worth the price
World of Cubes Survival Craft is a decent copycat. The issues with an overall lack of polish can be overlooked considering the price, but the game can become frustrating with ads and a focus on micro-transactions everywhere. It should also be noted that the community means this isn't really a game suitable for children. A mixed bag.
